Students IEEE

IEEE is the largest professional society in the world with over 300,000 members worldwide. IEEE members gain an edge with the best technical information on electrical, electronics and computer engineering which assures that all members stay current and competitive in the professional marketplace.

As a student member, you get all of the benefits that professional engineers get as well as student benefits such as discounts on membership and publications.

At Pitt, the student chapter provides weekly seminars where outside professionals address relative issues. Through these seminars, the students not only expand their technical knowledge but also interact and network with professional engineers, who could help in job searches and placement.
