Winners of Energy Efficiency Building Technologies Green Design Contest AnnouncedThe contest was co-sponsored by the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation and the Heinz Endowments
Pitt is pleased to announce the winners of the first Energy Efficiency Building Technologies Green Design Contest, co-sponsored by the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation and the Heinz Endowments.
The contest, announced in August 2008, asked undergraduate students from universities in Southwestern Pennsylvania to create a technique for “greening” residential or commercial buildings that carry a low-price tag and a quick payoff.
The challenge generated 29 proposals from which 5 finalist teams were selected. Please join us in congratulating our three winning teams.
