The research of Andrew Schwartz, adjunct faculty member in the Department of Bioengineering and professor of neurology, on robotic arms was recently featured in the New York Times.

Two monkeys with tiny sensors in their brains have learned to control a mechanical arm with just their thoughts, scientists reported on Wednesday.
